Billabong hacked for second time in a year, 37k users data at risk


A Hacker group called as #GoatSeSec, has claimed that they have breached server belong to BillBong (Sports wear and casual clothing manufacturer) and gained accessed to database.

Hackers said they have stolen valuable information from the BillaBong datase by exploiting a PHP Security flaw. According to hackers' statement, there are more than 37,000 users data has been stolen.

They have also leaked a very small part of the compromised data that contains around 10 usernames and password hashes .


"hours from now or even DAYS you will see the damage that can be done to a website because they cannot secure themselves." The hackers said in the statement.

This is not the first time the BillBong site being hacked.  Back in July, WikiBoat leaked users IDs and clear text passwords of over 20k users, as part of its WikiBoatWednesday operation.
